Lagos CP Orders Arrest Of Party Host Who Gave Attendees Petrol As Souvenir

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has ordered the arrest of the host of a party in the Oniru area of the state where petrol was given in kegs as souvenirs to attendees.

The police spokesman in the state, Adekunle Ajisebutu disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, saying that was “reprehensible”.

Meanwhile, the Lagos Safety Commission and the Rapid Response Squad has sealed off Havillah Event Centre, Oniru, where party was held “for contravening public safety rules”.

A video of the event had earlier gone viral on the internet.
