One of Africa’s best writers, Captain Elechi Amadi MON, has died yesterday at the Good Heart hospital in Port Harcourt, a week after he took ill. He was aged 82. A former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief Ojo Maduekwe has died in Abuja on Wednesday evening.The cause of his death remains unknown, but the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Walid Jibril, confirmed his death to the Punch.
