The Police in Abia State have finally arrested a Chinese expatriate at the Inner Galaxy Steel, Umuahala Asa, Ukwa West council area, Mr. GZ Zhen, for allegedly killing a female crane operator, identified as Ocheze Ogbonna.
CHECKPOINTCHARLEY reported that Ocheze was pushed down from the crane by a Chinese manager of the company. She was said to have hit her head on a hard object and d!ed.
Police Public Relations Officer, Abia Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, who confirmed that Zhen is in police custody, added that investigation has commenced on the matter.
Recall that the Member representing Ukwa West and Ukwa East federal constituency, Hon Chris Nkwonta, had called on the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, the Chief of Army Staff, and the Abia State Commissioner of Police to ensure that a Chinese man, who allegedly killed a female crane operator Ocheze Ogbonna is arrested and made to face “the full wrath of the law.”
According to Nkwonta, the culprit is being shielded by security agents after he allegedly killed the crane operator at a building at the Inner Galaxy Steel Company, Umuahala-Obuzor Asa, in Ukwa West council area of Abia State.
