
President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending 33 days reportedly in France and Saudi Arabia.
Tinubu’s chartered planed touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja as a crowd of supporters were waiting to welcome him and his wife, Oluremi.
Recall that CHECKPOINTCHARLEY had reported that Tinubu is expected back in Nigeria today, ahead of the May 29 inauguration.
Tinubu’s return was confirmed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga on Monday afternoon via a video he posted on Twitter:
