The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Umo Eno, has won the governorship election in Akwa Ibom, securing 29 of the 31 local government areas.
The Young Progressive Party (YPP), cleared two local government areas., while the All Progressive Congress (APC) did not win a single local government area.
