Political thugs, terrorizing Lagos with impunity, have reportedly burnt down The Akere Spare-parts market in Ajegunle, Olodi-Apapa Lagos.
The incident, it was gathered, happened in the wee hours of Wednesday.
A corpse, said to be thatof the security man watching over the market, was recovered from the scene.
It was learnt that he died from gunshot wound, as there was no trace of burn on his corpse.
The security man was reportedly killed when he tried to appeal to the thugs not to burn down the market.
Recall that there has been intimidation of Igbo voters before, during and after the Presidential election, in which Peter Obi of the Labour Party soundly defeated Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who is from Lagos, and who had claimed that he built Lagos.
The governorship election comes up on Saturday.
