Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has visited Mrs Jennifer Efedi, the lady who was stabbed while voting at a polling unit in Surulere, Lagos state by suspected political thugs during the last Presidential Election
Efedi was hailed as the hero of that election for coming back to vote after recieving treatment of the injurie inflcited on her by thugs, suspected to be working for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Obi disclosed the visit on Monday via his verified Twitter Handle.
He wrote, “Today, I visited Mrs Jennifer Efedi. She was attacked on 25 February in an attempt to stop her from voting. She stood her ground.
“Jennifer is one of the great icons of Nigeria’s democracy. She is my point of contact with every Nigerian who suffered similar fate in their bid to exercise their voting rights, & contribute to a new Nigeria. Like many
