VIDEO: Hunters Discover Thousands Of PVCs In Nnewi Forest Amid Allegations Of Voter Suppression Against Igbos

Two hunters, whose names have not been ascertained, have discovered a bag containing thousands of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, in a forest in Nnewi, Anambra State.

This is coming just four days to the all-important general election in Nigeria, amid accusation of voter suppression against people of Igbo decent.

The leading candidate in Saturday presidential election, Peter Obi of the Labour Party is Igbo, and from Anambra State.

The hunters reportedly saw the bag containing the PVCs in a bush in Akamili, a community in Nnewi, on Tuesday, and later took it to the premises of a popular radio station, Authority FM.

There had been accusation of voter suppression targeted at Igbos, especially in Lagos State, through the withholding of their PVCs by some unscrupulous INEC officials, allegedly doing the bidding of politicians, who want to win the election by foul means. The Social Media had been inundated with videos of such complaints.
