The Coalition of United Political Parties, Ikenga Ugochinyere says the Januray 14 attack on his country home in Akokwa Ideato North Local Government Area, Imo State by armed men was state-sponsored and “aimed at eliminating me because of my role in ensuring a free and fair general election.”
He added, “Let me make it categorically clear, I was not attacked by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.”
Ikenga insisted that the attack was sponsored by the government of Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
