Tthe Independent National Electoral Commission says the current scarcity of the Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, may affect the movement of election materials and election personnel on Election day.
The INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, said this during a meeting with National Union of Road Transport Workers in Abuja on Tuesday.
Yakubu however said that he would be meeting with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, to resolve any issues that might affect logistics delivery and personnel movement on election day.
The Nigerian Presidential Election holds on February 25.
