The convoy of President Muhammadu Buhari was on Monday stoned in Kano State by angry residents, protesting the agonising state of the nation.
The President was in the North West state to commission some projects executed by the government of Abdullahi Ganduje.
However, as Buhari, who was once beloved in Kano, was making his way to Hotoro area of Kano state, angry youths pelted the convoy with stones and made further attempt to bring down one of the helicopters in the Presidents Convoy.
In his almost eight years in power, Mr. Buhari had squandered the tremendous goodwill he once enjoyed, thanks to what is widely seen as his misgovernance.
