Audio Hitch Spoils Tinubu’s Bauchi Rally, Supporters Angrily Leave Stadium

Thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Monday angrily stormed out of the venue of the presidential campaign rally as the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu could not address them due to audio defect at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.

No reason was officially given for the so-called technical problem, as party officials in the State declined comment.

The chagrined supporters, who had come from various states of the North-East, started leaving the venue in anger after the address of the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Simon Lalong.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as the National Chairman of the APC mounted the podium to speak, but the sound system all of a sudden developed fault.

Attempts to fix the problem was unfruitful, which made it impossible for President Buhari and Tinubu to address the crowd.

In angry reaction, they started leaving the venue.

When it became clear that the sound cannot be restored, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu presented the flag to the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Bauchi State, Amb Saddique Baba Abubakar and left.
