The ambition of second term seeking Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has been bolstered by the Imo State Stakeholders, who gathered for the 7th edition of the Imo Stakeholders Meeting and unanimously endorsed him for the 2023 Imo Governorship Election.
The 7th Stakeholders meeting held at Ndubuisi Kanu Square, Owerri, Imo State was attended by Imo Stakeholders from different walks of life including politicians, academics, religious leaders, businessmen and women, elders and traditional rulers.
Chief Henry Njoku from Owerri zone had moved the motion to endorse the governor, pointing to “verifiable landmark achievements of his administration.
The motion, which was seconded by Hon. Barr Ifeanyi Agwu (Former Ehime Mbano House of assembly member) was unanimously adopted.
Uzodinma, in a detailed address, thanked them and took Ndi Imo through a journey of how his self-christened Shared Prosperity administration has delivered dividends of democracy in the past three years to Ndi Imo.
Responding, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, one of the Stakeholders, lauded the Governor, saying that he is proud of his leadership quality.
According to him, Uzodinma has shown true leadership and accountability by giving an account of the Shared Prosperity administration.
Chief Pascal Dozie CON, who chaired the 7th Imo State Stakeholders meeting, advised Imolites not to play politics with the State irrespective of their creed and political leanings.
