The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi on Tuesday met with university students in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Obi, who is in the state for a rally, told the students that his government then created a thriving environment for Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing among others.
According to him, his administration will create an enabling environment for them to thrive, pointing to some of the biggest tech companies like Facebook and Google which were created by students.
To make that possible, the former Anambra governor, promised loans and grants for small and medium-scale businesses formed by students if he is elected president in 2023.
Obi emphasised that this will be a priority for his government.
