Nigerian Lady Unlawfully Sacked By Her Employer In Port Harcourt For Supporting Peter Obi

A Nigerian lady, identified as Regina Legum, has been victimized by her employer for participating in a solidarity march in Port Harcourt for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The lady, who worked at a hotel in the Rivers State capital as a receptionist, revealed in the video that went viral on Thursday that her boss sacked her for joining the two million-man march, even though she was off that day.

According to the lady, her boss called her when she went to work the next day and told her to go and meet Obi to give her work.

She said she begged her boss not to lay her off but her pleas fell on deaf ears as she was laid off the following day.

It should be noted that the action of her employer is illegal; it is even an infringement into her personal rights.
