Boko Haram insurgents who kidnapped the Kaduna-Abuja train passengers have released three from the remaining 43 in their custody.
Those released are two males and a female.
They were released around 11am Monday morning and were picked up b their relatives along the Kaduna-Abuja road.
It was yet unclear if ransom was paid for their release.
So far, 22 victims have regained their freedom.
DSP Mohammed Jalige, Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer had yet to cofirm the development as at the time of filing this report.
Recall that the terrorists were seen in a recent viral video flogging the some of the remaining male victims like cows. They also threatened to Kidnap President Muhammad Buhari and Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
