
The embattled Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed the country on his way to France. amide the controversy surrounding the information he recently submitted to INEC about his primary and secondary school certificates.
It is understood that Mr. Tinubu left for France after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday morning.
Tunde Rahman, his spokesman, who announced this, said his boss is expected back in the country shortly.
“He is off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings,” Rahman said in a statement.
Recall that Tinubu had on Sunday attended the public presentation of a book titled ‘Mr. Speaker’ and launch of legislative mentoring initiative in commemoration of the 60th birthday of Speaker of House Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
