Four police officers have reportedly been killed after gunmen on Wednesday attacked a police station in Atani, the headquarters of Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Some residents of the community said the gunmen arrived the area at about 1:30am on Wednesday, and immediately launched an attack on the police facility, killing four police officers including a female police operative.
Confirming the attack, the State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, said efforts are being made to arrest the culprits.
