A video just released by Bianca Ojukwu, widow to late Biafran leader Chukwuemeka Ojukwu has clearly shown that Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano was the aggressor when both women publicly fought during the inauguration of Anambra State governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo on March 17.
In the video uploaded on the internet, Ebelechukwu, the wife of the outgoing governor, Willie Obiano was seen when she walked up to Bianca, where she was seated and said, “I thought you said we will never win the election.” She then smacked her forehead with her right hand, calling Bianca “bitch”, at least three times, to the hearing of all present.
Although, Mrs Obiano has apologized for her misbehaviour, she has consistently misrepresented what transpired, painting the picture that Bianca attacked her without cause.
That notwithstanding, majority of Nigerians, mainly Igbos had taken to the internet to blast Obiannö’s wife for having the audacity to engage in a brawl with the widow of a man, seen by the Igbos as their legendary leader.
Recall that a day after the incident, Mrs Ojukwu told AriseTV that Ebelechukwu was already drunk when she attacked her (Bianca).
“How could the first lady be so drunk at that time? She had asked.
According to her, she noticed it when people tried to separate them after the fight broke out, saying she was surprised by the stench of whisky in Ebelechukwu’s breath at such an early hour of the day.
Meanwhile, Mrs Obiano, undeterred by her show of shame, later picked up the nomination form to run for the Anamabra East Senate seat on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance.
