Nigeria’s Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo, is currently hosting All Progressive Congress northern governors at his official residence in Abuja to the breaking of Ramadan fast (Iftar), his close aide told CHECKPOINTCHARLEY.
It is gathered that the meeting is part of his consultations as he is prepares to delcare his inetion to run for president in 2023, which is expected to happen in a matter of hours.
A presidential said, “At the Iftar dinner meeting, the VP intends to inform the APC Governors of his decision to run for President in 2023 under the APC platform.
“Afterwards, he would be making a public declaration of his intent to run for the office of the President.”
