Commercial Activities Paralyze In Umuahia, Aba As Kanu Appears In Court

Commercial activities were paralyzed in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State following the ruling on a case involving the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday.

Residents tell CHECKPOINTCHARLEY that banks and other corporate organisations did not open for business.

Major markets were locked, and street traders, including food vendors, also stayed away from their shops.

The case was the same in Aba, the commercial center of the state, where also major markets did not open for commercial activities.
