Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho has said that a Peoples Democratic Party presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, visited him while he was in detention in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
Igboho revealed this in his first video after his release, saying he was surprised that Momodu visited him.
The Yoruba Nation agitator, who was recently released by the Benin Republic government, said the presidential aspirant risked everything to visit him.
He said, “I was very surprised that Chief Momodu could do this when many big people were even afraid to speak up for me.
“He prayed for me and told me to be calm and await God’s intervention.
“He said all he wants is peace and that he will reach out to every part of Nigeria.”
The Beninese government had released Igboho a few days ago on health grounds.
