Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has suspended his Chief of Staff, ACB Agbazuere, a statement on Sunday by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Chris Ezem said.
No official reason was given for the suspension but CHECKPOINTCHARLEY understood that it had to do with a video, trending on Twitter, in which Agbazuere was seen spraying cash on self-acclaimed prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje or Indaboski, who was dancing.
The date the video was taken is unknown but it appears to have been in Agbazuere’s office.
“Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate suspension from office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr ACB Agbazuere,” the statement stated.
The governor ordered the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Alozie Odoemelam, to perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice.
