The coronavirus has spread to Imo, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said in a tweet on Saturday night as it confirmed 87 new cases of COVID-19 in nine states.
Of the new cases, 33 were confirmed in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, nine in Katsina, four each in Kano and Ekiti, three each in Edo and Bauchi, and one in Imo.
The number of discharged patients increased from 208 to 222, while the number of fatalities increased from 32 to 35, the NCDC said.
As at 11:55 pm on Saturday 1,182 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Nigeria by the agency.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) had expressed its displeasure over the number of health workers who have tested positive for coronavirus.
The NMA, in a statement, urged the government to provide adequate provision of personal protective equipment and other medical supplies for health workers.
