Buhari Back In Abuja After Election Postponement


President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abuja from Katsina, where he had gone to vote in Saturday’s elections, which was postponed at the last minute by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This was disclosed in a tweet by Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his verified Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

INEC had shifted elections by a week, citing logistics problem. However, many Nigerians have accused the president of being behind the postponement.
