The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has said his ambition to become president is not worth the life of any Nigerian.
Mr. Abubakar made this clear on Wednesday at the signing of the National Peace Accord at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.#
The former vice president cited former President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 speech and hinted the importance of credible elections.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on his part, restated his call for free and fair elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Chairman of the National Peace Committee, Gen. Abdulsalami Atiku (retd.) urged security agents to remain neutral during the elections on February 16 and March 2.
