Tinubu’s Ex-CSO, Egbetokun Sent To Saraki’s Kwara As CP

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the deployment of Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, a former Chief Security Officer to former Governor Bola Tinubu of Lagos State as the Commissioner of Police for Kwara State, alongside 36 others.

Details of the approval and deployment are contained in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday by the Commission’s Spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani.

With the deployment Mr. Egbtokun will now police the elections in the home state of senate president, Bukola Saraki – one of Tinubu’s fiercest critics and rivals.

The elections begins next Saturday.

Egbetokun’s appointment and that of others followed recommendation by the acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to the commission.

In Lagos State CP Mu’azu Zubairu, will take over from Imohimi Edgal as the new Commissioner of Police.

According to the Commission, the CPs are expected to resume immediately at their new Commands ahead of the 2019 general elections.
