Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has again escaped death as his helicopter crash-landed in Kogi state on Saturday, his spokesperson, Laolu Akande has said.
“VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State,” Mr. Akande had tweeted.
He did not provide much details but it is understood that the chopper was conveying Osinbajo to a campaign rally in Kogi State.
He continued on his campaign trip after the incident, his spokesman said.
This is the second time the vice president’s helicopter would crash-land.
In June 2017, Mr. Osinbajosurvived a similar accident when his chopper crash-landed shortly after take off in Gwagawalada, Abuja.
