Buhari Now A Full-Blown Dictator – PDP

48th Ecowas extraordinary meeting in Abuja, Nigeria

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus has said President Muhammadu Buhar is now a full-blown dictator and a lawbreaker who continues to violate the nation’s constitution.

Mr. Secondus raised the alarm when he spoke on Tuesday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital at the rally organised by the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party for its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

He called on Nigerians to reject Buhari at the poll, saying he has turned out to be a dictator despite the fact that he is a civilian President.

Secondus said, “Buhari came to power as a civilian but without due process, he removed the head of another arm of government. I am referring to the removal of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Onnoghen.

“APC said we should not talk about the man who is breaking the law, but you cannot continue to break the constitution that guides everybody.”

The PDP would continue to condemn the brazen violation of the constitution in defiance of the position of the ruling All Progressives Congress that nobody should talk about it, he added.

He also accused the Buhari administration of corruption, pointing out that the Transparency International had said the government was corrupt.

According to him, APC has failed Nigerians in all the tripod on which Buhari was elected president – they failed to revive the economy, fight corruption, and insecurity in the land.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan also spoke at the rally.

He urged Bayelsans to work for Atiku to emerge as President, adding that the Atiku/Obi ticket would deal fairly with all the geopolitical zones in the country in appointments and development.
