A man said to be a former Manager of the defunct Nigeria Electricity Power Authority (NEPA) in Ebonyi state district has reportedly died in a roadside hotel in Abakaliki during adulterous sex with another man’s wife, who is a nursing mother.
The incident occurred in a hotel located along the ever busy Abakaliki/Enugu Expressway, said to be owned by wife of an influential politician in the state, The Nation reports.
The adulterous nursing mother, who participated in the conjugal infidelity, is a hairdressser, who resides at Nwojiji street opposite St. Patrick Catholic Church Abakaliki.
She is the owner of the hair dressing saloon at 9 Bende Street kpirikpiri, Abakaliki.
A police source told the newspaper that the woman had just finished withdrawing money from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) along Ezza Road Abakaliki when the deceased picked her up and reportedly checked into the hotel for illegitimate sex.
It is understood that in the middle of their romp, the man suddenly started gasping for breath, slumped and reportedly died instantly.
On sensing danger, the woman immediately opened the hotel room door to run away but was stopped by the hotel management who sensed trouble, the source said.
The hotel staff then went with her to the room where they found his lifeless body on the bed and alerted men of the Ebonyi State Police Command who rushed to the scene and arrested the woman.
At the office of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, where the suspect is currently detained, her husband was reportedly seen carrying their little baby while residents discussed the incident in clusters.
Police spokesman in the state, Loveth Odah confirmed the incident and said that the matter is before SARS.
” O/C SARS is handling it,” she said.
