The Alternative Party of Nigeria (APN) governorship candidate in Kwara state for 2019 general elections, Amb. Mohammed Abubakar Mohammed has stated that both the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) have failed people of the state through their woeful performance in the last 16 years.
Mohammed Abubakar Mohammed made this claim on Friday in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ilorin, the state capital.
He added that the crop of people in the two parties have been moving from one party to another like a nomadic politician without ideology and lack the political will to bring meaningful development to the state.
The APN governorship candidate insisted that only APN can take Kwara state to promised-land come 2019.
Mohammed said, “The PDP and APC have failed the good people of Kwara state. The people in the two parties have been moving from one party to another since 2003 to achieve their personal goal and interest. Look at the Senate President; he served as governor for eight years under PDP and move to APC in 2014 where he later emerged as Senate President. The same thing is applicable to incumbent governor of the state, Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed. They are now in PDP.
“If you look at Kwara APC now, it comprises those people have served or contested on the platform of PDP who they are blaming for the problems we are facing in state of harmony.
He urged kwarans/residents not to vote for the two parties in 2019 general elections because they created the problems and cannot claim to have solution.
“Majority of them are in politics to make money and satisfy their ego by getting access to power. They don’t care about the welfare of the masses, development of Kwara is not their priority and that will not change soon.
“Alternative Party of Nigeria is the only party that has the masterplan to develop kwara and improve on the wellbeing of the people.
“Please don’t allow them to deceive you again; it’s time to move our dear state to greater height by supporting APN,” he added
