CHECKPOINTCHARLEY has just been informed that the sacked Director-General of the Department of State Services, lawal Daura, has been arrested by a combined team of the Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Mr. Daura was reportedly arrested and detained just shortly after he was sacked by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for “breaching national security.”
He is currently being detained at SARS headquarters, Abuja.
The controversial DSS DG was earlier today sacked by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo for the role he played in the illegal siege laid on the National Assemby on Tuesday by DSS operatives and officers of the Nigeria Police.
