Chelsea have been given the chance to sign one of the best strikers on planet earth, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund for merely £70m.
Coach Antonio Conte, who was frustrated after losing his main target, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, is in the market desperate for a striker, following his telling Diego Costa that his services are no longer needed at Stamford Bridge.
Aubameyang since joining Dortmund from Saint Etienne in 2013, has established himself as one of the best strikers around at the moment. His speed, accuracy and coolness in front of goal is second to none presently.
The 28-year-old Gabonese, who still has three years left on his current contract at Dortmund, has scored 85 Bundesliga goals in 128 appearances. He scored 42 goals for club and country last season.
Despite the offer to the Blues, AC Milan are already in talks with Dortmund over a deal for Aubameyang, while Paris Saint-Germain are also interested, SKY reported.
Interestingly, prolific Aubameyang started his career at Milan, but never made a first-team appearance for the club.
