Timothy Weah, the son of 1995 Ballon d’Or winner George Weah, has signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 17-year-old forward follows in the footsteps of his father, who spent three years at the Ligue 1 club, before moving to AC Milan.
Timothy has signed a three-year deal that would keep him in the French capital until 2020.
“I am very proud to continue the adventure at Paris St Germain by signing this professional contract.
“I am in a big club and I look forward to continuing to progress so that I can one day play for the first team,” he told the club’s official website.
He joined PSG’s academy in 2014 and had featured for both the U-15s and U-19s.
