Men of the Nigeria Police Force Monday morning protested in Ondo town, Ondo State the non-payment of their last Saturday governorship election allowance.
The angry policemen stormed Fagun street in Ondo town chanting war songs in disgust of the way they were treated after the governorship election.
The protest congested traffic in the area.
The angry protesters beat journalists, who tried to speak with them, and residents who attempted to take photographs.
Owing of salaries and allowances have become a Nigerian malaise.
